Step 1:

Install NS Sidekick

Step 2:

Use this convenient JS Bin to generate app version

Step 3:

Open your NativeScript project inside side kick and use the versions generated in previous step, in the respective input fields.

Step 4:

Done! Now you can control app version from the general settings tab, using the Application Version settings.
