Include 3 sets of 3 x 400 meters. 1st set at goal 5K pace with 100 meter jog between; 2nd set 2-3 seconds per 400m faster than 5K pace, 200m jog between reps; 3rd set 4-6 seconds faster than goal pace, 400m jog between reps; Take 400m jog between sets; include a warm-up and cool-down
